Photos that feel like art seldom happen by chance. You will have noticed that some of your best photos happen when you ‘saw’ them in your mind first. Sometimes this vision comes during our editing and we carve the art out of our raw photos.

Either way, art takes vision. Honing your vision and knowing yourself as an artist are keys to creating the art that fulfils you. I want to help you to do that.

Conceptual art is my jam. I want to guide you through some concepts and show you how vision, storytelling and conceptualisation can leave you shooting with much more intention and in a way that honours you as an artist!

Family storytelling...

What you'll get...

  • 4 styled shoots (an intimate motherhood, couple’s maternity, solo maternity and family sessions).

  • Information and inspiration before each session to help you to shoot with intention and vision.

  • Conversation, guidance and a community of fellow artists!

  • Professional videography of you during solo shooting times which you can use for social media.

  • A zoom call with me to edit and curate a gallery, giving the benefit of a fresh perspective (or for those who feel comfortable in their process, the option of a co-working hang out!)

  • Accommodation for the night of 27th April in the luxury venue Dinham Weir House in the centre of the beautiful historic town of Ludlow.

  • Lunch, dinner and breakfast the next morning (venue and catering information below)

Some details of the day...

  • Arrival at 11am on 27th April 2024, giving plenty of time for travel to the venue (though do speak to me if travel/transfers from the train station is problematic, I live locally and may be able to help!)

  • Our last shoot will be at golden hour and I’ve shaped the day to make sure that we have breaks throughout and plenty of time to relax and chat!

  • Following our day of sessions, we’ll eat and relax round the fire pit with a glass of wine.

  • Lunch & Dinner catered for by a local restaurant who prioritise local and seasonal food. Lunch will be a mixed spread and dinner the very best freshly made sourdough pizzas & salads. Breakfast will be a spread of hot & cold breakfast foods and pastries. Gluten free & vegan available on request.

  • Some drinks will be supplied and we are one minute walk away from a local cafe.

What is the cost?

The workshop & mini retreat is £450.
It’s  packed full of value and as well as the content and educational aspects, you’ll walk away having had a lovely time with a group of likeminded women and new friends!

You can pay in full now or pay a £200 deposit to secure the ticket with the balance due on April 1st.

A payment plan is available.

I am able to take card payments as well as bank transfers.
